On September 23, 2006, the Audubon Fire Department's Explorer program took a trip to the Audubon Towers on Nicholson Road to test their skills.  Split into two groups, they worked on all possible emergency scenarios that could be encountered in such an environment, and incorporated some of the previous skills learned in the program.  Lt. Bicking, Capt. Johansen, and numerous other Firefighters from the department assisted in teaching the explorers knowledge they will later use as firefighters themselves.
