Quint 1-1

Quint 1-1 was placed into service on March 11, 2000. The truck, an HP-100 model, was manufactured completely by
Emergency One of Ocala, Florida. The truck utilizes a 100 foot aluminum aerial main and 1750 GPM Hale Single Stage
pump. It is powered by an 8 cylinder Cummins Diesel motor and Allison transmission. Ladder 114 seats up to 6 firefighters in
5 SCBA positions with provisions for 2 additional firefighters in drop down seats.
The truck carries 700 feet of 4 inch supply line, 200 feet of 3 inch line and 2 cross lays both at 200 feet. A piped waterway is
capable of flowing up to 1250 GPM from the automatic nozzle at the tip of the aerial main. The nozzle can be pinned at
either 100 feet or 87 feet to facilitate rescue operations and to protect the nozzle against damage.
The truck carries a standard compliment of ground ladders normally seen on a Quint. While it is primarily set up to be the
truck company, it carries the necessary engine company equipment to serve as a first out piece if needed.
