Squad 1-1
Squad 1-1 is a 1991 Emergency One Custom Pumper that was placed into service in January of 1992. It has a Hale single stage 1750 GPM pump with a 750 gallon water tank. It is powered by an 8 cylinder Detroit Diesel motor and Allison transmission. It is one of the few E-Ones you will see on a Spartan Chassis. Squad 1-1 is our first out engine primarily designed to be our attack pumper. It has a pre-piped deck gun and seats 10 firefighters. The Engine carries 1,500 feet of 4 inch supply line, 500 feet of 3 inch line along with a 150 foot 2 1/2 inch blitz line off the rear. The (2) 1 3/4 inch cross lays are 150 and 200 foot long. A 300 foot garage line is also piped off the rear. Both engines are equipped with a high rise pack for hi-rise operations. The Squad took first place trophies in 1992 and 1993 in the 0-5 year category at the NJ State Firemen's Convention in Wildwood.
