1. Connect past experience

Talk about some projects or accomplishments you’ve achieved in the past, and what strengths you gained from it. Talk about how those experiences have given you the knowledge and expertise to be confident that you are a good fit for the role.
2. Talk about your unique abilities
The recruiter doesn’t need to hear that you are the only solution to their problems or the only person who is fit for the job. But what they do want to hear is what interesting skills you’ve gained or what important experiences you’ve had in the past that can offer a really strong perspective to the job. My past work experience has taught me patience and great customer service. I have learned to solve problems large and small and I would like to use that in combination with my enthusiasm for this role to bring my skills to this company.
4. Practice it!
Once you’ve crafted a great answer, it’s time to put it into practice. One great way to really nail this answer is to try and come up with something that takes less than 60 seconds to say out loud. You don’t want to bore the interviewer by talking too long. Plus, it is known that the attention span starts to dwindle after a minute or so.
Make sure to captivate your recruiter through stories of your experiences, skillsets, and more. You don’t need to put others down in the process – for example, don’t say, “I can do way more than anyone else here can” – but be true to your knowledge and let your confidence shine through.
